In Maker Lab I my team created two group projects that pushed us to explore hands-on design and simple electronics. Our final project was EcoEye 2.0, a wildlife feeder that reacts only when an animal is close. It uses an ultrasonic sensor and a small motor to drop controlled portions of food. The lightweight build makes it easy to place outdoors and the QR code adds an educational layer for users. EcoEye 2.0 taught us how to bring UX thinking into physical design by focusing on safety, learning, and accessibility.
